Aureus Mining remains on track to deliver first gold by May

Aureus Mining Incorporated has released an operational update from its New Liberty project in Liberia.

The Company has started commissioning the plant and remains on track to deliver the projectís first gold by the end of May 2015.

The hot and cold commissioning phases, with special focus on the front end infrastructure, have commenced.

Commissioning of the primary and secondary jaw crushing circuits as well as the mechanical and electrical cold commissioning in the screening circuit have all been completed. 

All belts of the plantís conveyor systems have been successfully tracked, trained and are currently running.

Installation and all alignments of the Ball Mill have been completed. The mill motor is now synchronised and the direction has been tested. 

The Electro-winning circuit has been mechanically installed and the leak tests have been conducted with satisfactory results. 

The commissioning of the power generation system and all six generators have been synchronised.
